OSAGYEFO OSEADE DR. AGYEMANG BADU II, the occupant of the Dormaa stool says he will not relent on criticizing any government in Ghana until it does the will of the citizens
According to the overlord of the Dormaa stool, the hardship in the country currently is unbearable and he will keep criticizing any government being it current or future ones on any policy or governance that does not benefit the people of Ghana until the right steps are taken by that government to take Ghanaians out of that hardship.
Speaking at the Suma Munufie Yam festival at Suma in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region, OSAGYEFO OSEADE DR. AGYEMANG BADU II says the hardship in the country could partly be attributed to the meager dividends the country gets out of the oil, gold and other resources in the country and he will not keep quiet until the government takes steps to rectify that to benefit Ghanaians.
The occupant of the Aduane stool is also calling on Ghanaians to put the interest of the country beyond their political affiliations. To him, most Ghanaians tend to be loyal to their political parties than the country so they defend the very bad things their parties do. He says Ghanaians should be bold to criticize their government if it does the wrong thing
The Omanhene of Suma traditional area ODENEHO DR. AFFRAM BREMPONG III also says this year’s Munufie Yam festival aims at raising funds in support of the University of Energy and Natural Resources satellite campus under construction at Suma Ahenkuro.
He also calls on Ghanaians to refrain from any lifestyle that could compound their hardships since the current economic crisis is not yet over.
