Former First Lady, Lordina Dramani Mahama, has through her organisation, the Lordina Foundation, come to the aid of a 10-year old girl abandoned by her family after a motorbike accident. The young girl was knocked down by a motor cyclist in September 2020 and has since been undergoing treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. The family, according to the hospital authorities, has since abandoned the girl.
