The National Democratic Congress, has given reasons as to why it has temporarily boycotted IPAC meetings organized by the Electoral Commission. The Director of Elections for the National Democratic Congress has outlined a number of proposals his party intended to engage with the various stakeholders for considerations and implementation. The Parents of the 15-year-old student of the Miracle Preparatory and Junior High School at Sunyani in the Bono Region, who is suspected to have committed suicide by hanging, say they suspect foul play in the death of their daughter. The Savannah Regional branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has suspended its Chairman for the Salaga South Consituency, Haruna Salifu, after violence erupted at the constituency office on May 16, 2021. The constituency’s Organizer, Murtala Falalu, and the Communications Officer, Abubakari Abu Omega, have also been suspended.
