The President addressing a ceremony where an Honorary Doctorate Degree was conferred on him at the University of Cape Coast yesterday Saturday 29th May 2021 openly launched an attack on the radio programme meant to give political actors and authorities feedback and described the radio show as a spirited attack on the free SHS policy. “A radio station is currently running a campaign against free SHS, during the last election I got…

Residents of New Town, one of the biggest and popular communities within the central business district of Sunyani, was serruptitiously engulfed with a number of soldires. On Friday evening, the soldiers, who were ostensibly from the Sunyani Military Barracks and in their official bus, spontaneously captured the entire town with their canes, belts and other disciplinary equipment to devour the residents. Reports say, these soldiers, who were visibly angry with a well rehearsed plan of action, immediately descended on these residents; mostly the males, without any discrimination. Any boy or man they met within New Town became a subject of…
It has come to the notice of the students’ body of the Medical Laboratory Scientists, the interest and infiltration of Laboratory Physicians into Medical Laboratory in KATH. As far as the student and future of this noble profession are concerned, we throw our full and undying support behind our mother Association in this fight. We as students and future of our motherland, believe that if Ghana as a nation fought against our colonial masters, why then should this professional slavery be encouraged? How can a laboratory Physician validate results produced by a WHO certified scientist? How can a laboratory Physician…

Veteran Journalist and Managing Editor of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr., says the ongoing military operation against illegal miners appears to be unfocused particularly looking at the indiscriminate manner in which seized equipment are being set ablaze. He believes this has led to the instances of complaints by some licensed small-scale miners that their machines are being damaged although they have not committed any illegality. Whilst in favour of the fight against illegal mining, Mr. Baako Jnr., who was speaking on Joy FM’s News File on Saturday, May 29, 2021, said his main challenge is…
A former Deputy Minister of Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has condemned what he calls wasteful expenditure on President Akufo-Addo’s foreign trips. Indeed, in the last few weeks, the discussions have been about the economic hardship that has come about because he has had to impose some more taxes.” “Even as citizens brace themselves for more taxes, they expect to see some…
