Self-styled evangelist, Patricia Asiedua — widely known as Nana Agradaa — has officially withdrawn and disowned all allegations she previously made against award-winning gospel musician Empress Gifty Oppong Adorye, admitting that the claims were entirely false.
According to her legal representatives, Agyaa Asamani Law Consult, the controversial statements circulated by Agradaa on social media in May 2025 were made “in the spur of the moment” and have now been fully retracted.
In a formal statement released on Thursday, December 4, her lawyer, Richard Asare Baffour, clarified that the accusations levelled against Empress Gifty had no basis in truth and must not be given any credibility.
Nana Agradaa has since issued an unqualified and sincere apology, acknowledging the damage her remarks caused to Empress Gifty’s reputation, emotional well-being, and professional image. The apology was extended not only to the musician but also to her family, friends, management, and industry colleagues.
Her legal team explained that the public retraction is meant to bring closure, restore peace, and correct the public record after months of tension and misinformation.
Empress Gifty has not yet publicly responded to the retraction and apology.
