The Salaga-South Constituency Chairman, Mr. Haruna Abdul Aziz, popularly known as Abotsi, on behalf of the Member of Parliament for Salaga-South, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, on Thursday, 30th October 2025, presented a cheque for GHC 15,000 to the Kpembe Nursing and Midwifery Training College.
The donation forms part of the MP’s continued commitment to supporting educational and health-related initiatives within her constituency. It is specifically aimed at assisting the College in organizing its Breast Cancer Awareness Program as part of this year’s Pink October celebration.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Principal, Madam Akilu Latifa, the Vice Principal of the College expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the MP. She noted that the gesture did not come as a surprise, emphasizing that even while in opposition, Hon. Hajia Zuwera consistently extended her support to the institution.
On behalf of the Principal, staff, and students, Madam Latifa conveyed the College’s profound gratitude to Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah and prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and blessings upon her as she serves the people of the Salaga-South Constituency.
