The District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF) has released its first-quarter allocations for 2025 to various Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs) across the country.
Established under the District Assemblies Common Fund Act, 1993 (Act 455), the Fund is designed to provide financial support to all districts, with monies distributed based on a formula approved by Parliament.
Allocations are made in quarterly instalments and serve as a key resource for development projects at the local level.
According to the latest disbursement, the Ga Central Municipal Assembly received the highest allocation of ₵7,187,812.86, followed closely by Ablekuma Central with ₵6,915,719.98.
On the other end of the scale, Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District and Builsa South District received the least allocations, recording ₵1,738,087.85 and ₵1,738,037.26, respectively.
