NDC Zongo Caucus represented Prez Mahama at the National Mosque

The National Democratic Congress led by the Zongo Caucus Secretariat today represented the former President, John Dramani Mahama at the Opening of the National Mosque at Kanda in Accra.

This gesture was, among other things to demonstrate the importance the party attaches to the model project which was initiated with a gift of land by Former President Rawlings and also pursued by the former president, John Dramani Mahama, who sent a delegation to the Turkish Government to seek for financial assistance.

This visit resulted in having a Turkish NGO by name HUDAI Foundation to support the completion of the mosque. Of course we can’t forget the efforts of so many Muslims who contributed to having this ultra modern mosque.

The NDC delegation at the commissioning included Hon Muntaka Mubarak, Hon Collins Dauda, Alhaji Cole Younger, Hon Rashid Pelpuo, Hon Nasser Toure, Hon Mustapha Abubakar and other National Executives of the Zongo Caucus.
