The down-to-earth Member of Parliament for the people of Techiman south in the Bono East Region and deputy minister for local government Hon. Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah in fulfilling his promise to seek for the wellbeing of his constituents, is giving loans ranging from one thousand to five thousand Ghana cedis to market women to grow their businesses.
The loan attracts no interest. The beneficiaries are to repay their loans in convenient and moderate manner however, they are expected to do all repayments so others could benefit from same.
Hon. Martin speaking on radio link said this is among his plans to mitigate the global economic hardship for market women in his constituency to sustain and grow their businesses.
So far, about five hundred petty, small and medium traders in Techiman south have benefitted.
Hon. Martin is also inarguably known for executing many infrastructural projects in his constituency.
