The Member of Parliament for Techiman North Constituency; Lawyer Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, toured some ecotourism sites in the Techiman North Constituency in the company of gurus from Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA).
The team from GTA comprised the Board Chairman, Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Deputy CEO(Incharge of Operations), Director of Product Development and Investment as well as the Bono East Regional Director of the Authority.
The team explained that they were in the constituency at the instance of the MP whose objective is to transform her constituency into tourism enclave in the Bono East Region.
The visit took them to Tanoboase and Buoyem. In each of the communities, they interacted with Nananom and visited sites.
The CEO and his Board Chair assured the MP and her constituents to initiate specific infrastructural development at the two sites to give them a face-lift.
The CEO in his interaction with the media added that the abandoned Buoyem road will be considered as a tourism road for the urgent attention of the Ministry of Roads and Highways.
