The National Identification Authority (NIA) has announced an upward revision of fees for some of its services.
In a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Wednesday, January 22, the Authority said the adjustment is intended to help sustain operations and enhance the quality of service delivery.
The new fees affect a number of services, including first-time Ghana Card registration, updates to personal details, card replacement, nationality changes, and registration of non-citizen cards.
The NIA has advised the general public to take note of the revised charges as they come into force, noting that the changes are necessary to ensure efficiency and long-term sustainability of its services.
