The Wenchi Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) warmly welcomed the National Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, to Nkonsia in Wenchi as part of his nationwide Thank You Tour.
Addressing party faithfuls and residents, Hon. Asiedu Nketiah expressed his profound gratitude to the people of Wenchi for their massive support and commitment to the NDC during the last general elections. He acknowledged Wenchi’s loyalty to the party and outlined how the Mahama-led government is determined to bring accelerated development to the constituency, focusing on key areas such as infrastructure, health, education, and job creation.
The Member of Parliament for Wenchi, Hon. Alhaji Seidu Haruna, also took the opportunity to sincerely thank the constituents for the confidence reposed in him and the party. He reaffirmed his commitment to representing Wenchi diligently and working tirelessly to ensure that the developmental needs and aspirations of the people are fully addressed.
On her part, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Wenchi, Hon. Gloria Opoku Gyamfi, highlighted and enumerated several developmental projects undertaken by the Mahama government in the Wenchi Municipality. She emphasized that these projects are clear testimonies of the NDC’s dedication to improving the living standards of the people and assured residents of more transformative projects in the near future.
