The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has urged party members to remain calm, united, and focused, even if they have not yet received appointments or job placements under the current administration.
Speaking during the his thank you tour at Meremano, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah cautioned members against entertaining negative thoughts or feelings simply because they have not been given positions to serve. According to him, governance is a collective responsibility that goes beyond individual appointments, and the strength of the party lies in the continued loyalty and commitment of its grassroots supporters.
He further advised members not to allow provocations from members of other political parties to cause disunity or discourage them. Mr. Asiedu Nketiah emphasized that internal cohesion within the NDC remains crucial to delivering on the party’s mandate and sustaining public confidence.
Touching on national issues, the NDC Chairman called on Ghanaians to critically assess the current fuel price situation, noting that fuel prices have a direct impact on the cost of living, transportation, and overall economic activity. He stressed the need for accountability and realistic measures to ease the burden on ordinary citizens.
The thank you tour, he explained, is meant to appreciate the sacrifices of party supporters and to reaffirm the NDC’s commitment to inclusive governance, unity, and policies that improve the lives of Ghanaians.
