The President of Ghana, HE John Dramani Mahama on Sunday, December 21, 2025 embark on what will be describe as a historic sod-cutting exercise for the Bono Region.
The sod-cutting exercise will be held at Watchman, a suburb of Sunyani, on the Atronie – Kenyase road at 9:00 am.
President Mahama in October 2025, launched the ”Big Push” agenda which aims at transforming Ghana’s major road network infrastructure.
The Bono Region is privilege to benefit from a number of road projects under the ”Big Push” and these roads include; Sunyani Inner/Outer Ring Road, Catholic University – Alaska Road, Berekum – Sampa, Sampa – Wenchi and the Sunyani – Techiman – Wa road. The others are the Kyeremasu – Gambia road and the Atronie – Hwedien road.
