The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat (GSS) has announced that interviews for shortlisted candidates applying for the 2025/2026 Commonwealth Scholarship, which is tenable in the United Kingdom, will take place on December 8 and 9, 2025.
In a statement signed by the Registrar of Scholarships, Alex Kwaku Asafo-Agyei, the Secretariat said the preliminary review of applications has been completed and shortlisted applicants will now be assessed through in-person interviews.
The interviews are scheduled as follows:
Applicants who applied online but have not yet submitted hard copies of their documents have been instructed to bring printed versions of their application forms together with their academic certificates to the interview.
The Secretariat stated that this requirement had earlier been communicated in a public notice published in the Ghanaian Times.
The GSS also issued a warning to the public to be cautious of individuals attempting to defraud applicants, stressing that all its services are provided free of charge and that no payments should be made to anyone claiming to offer assistance in securing the scholarship.
