President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn into office a seven-member Right to Information (RTI) Commission to oversee the effective implementation of the Right to Information Act.
The Commission is chaired by Dr. James Asante, a seasoned communication consultant and lecturer, with Christina Edmund serving as Vice Chairperson. The other members of the Commission are Kwablah Woyome, Aba Edusah, Angela Emefa Kpegah, and Chris Dugan.
Shirley Lartey has been appointed as the Executive Secretary and also serves as a member of the Commission.
