The Member of Parliament for Salaga South and Vice Chair of Parliament’s Gender Committee, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, has launched a groundbreaking report on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in Ghana.
The report, titled “Unequal Risk: SGBV Among Youth and Persons with Disabilities”, was formally unveiled during a webinar organized by SEND Ghana. It focuses on the rising concerns of SGBV, particularly affecting youth and persons with disabilities — groups identified as highly vulnerable within society.
Key Highlights from the Report Launch
- Extensive Research & Collaboration: The publication is the result of months of nationwide research aimed at assessing the real state of SGBV in Ghana.
