Bryan Acheampong Most Credible Among NPP Flagbearer Contenders – Campaign Spokesperson

Yaw Appeateng Yeboah, Campaign Spokesperson for Team Bryan Acheampong, has touted the Abetifi MP as the most credible and unifying figure among the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential hopefuls ahead of the 2028 elections.

Speaking on Channel One’s Newsroom on Sunday, October 5, 2025, Mr. Yeboah argued that Bryan Acheampong’s track record in both public service and private enterprise sets him apart from his competitors in the party’s flagbearer race.

“In the face of us building the party, we need somebody that people can easily go to and work with, and that sets him apart. He is a successful entrepreneur and has shown that he is a business leader. In academics, he has shown it all — both in private life and public life. He has distinguished himself as a winner and a go-to person,” Yeboah stated.

He emphasized that Acheampong has earned the trust of the NPP grassroots, who view him as someone capable of uniting the party and leading it to victory in 2028.

“So, we don’t have to look elsewhere if indeed we want to win the 2028 election. He is the best bet for the party, and the grassroots know. They know the one who understands them and is willing to work with them to bring the unity we are looking for,” he stressed.

According to him, Acheampong’s leadership style, credibility, and ability to connect with party members make him the strongest candidate in the contest.

“Currently, he is the most credible person among his contenders,” Yeboah added.

Bryan Acheampong, who previously served as Minister for Food and Agriculture, is currently touring the Ashanti Region as part of his campaign to win over delegates ahead of the NPP’s flagbearership election scheduled for January 31, 2026.
