The Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addae Akwaboa, has continued his familiarization tour of the region with a visit to the Berekum West District, where he engaged staff of the District Assembly and community leaders to foster stronger collaboration for development.
During an interaction with staff of the Assembly, the Minister encouraged them to work with honesty, dedication, and a positive attitude, stressing that effective public service is key to accelerating growth in the district and the Bono Region at large.
At a community durbar held at the Jinjini Community Center, Hon. Akwaboa met with traditional leaders and residents, where he outlined President John Dramani Mahama’s “Resetting Agenda.” He explained that the government’s comprehensive plan seeks to drive national renewal through strategic investments in infrastructure, education, agriculture, roads, and job creation.
He emphasized that Berekum West and the Bono Region possess significant potential for economic growth, noting that the Resetting Agenda will focus on unlocking these opportunities to create jobs and improve living standards.
The Minister’s visit forms part of an ongoing effort to strengthen ties between government and local stakeholders, ensuring that the region plays a central role in Ghana’s broader development agenda.
