NDC Govt Has No Clear Blueprint for National Challenges – Miracles Aboagye

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has criticised the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, accusing it of failing to provide a clear strategy to address Ghana’s pressing challenges.

In a Facebook post, Mr. Aboagye argued that instead of tackling issues such as economic hardship, insecurity, and unemployment, the government has prioritised “raiding the homes of opposition party members.”

“Galamsey is on the rise with NDC officials leading the destruction of our water bodies and forests. Forty-eight thousand Ghanaians have been displaced in the President’s region, 13,000 are now refugees in Ivory Coast, shootings are happening in broad daylight, the cedi keeps fluctuating, and businesses are struggling to access forex. Fuel prices are racing up, 35,000 workers have been dismissed since January 7, and there is still no clear blueprint from this government to deal with the challenges,” he wrote.

Mr. Aboagye added that attempts to intimidate the opposition would not succeed.
“This is 2025. You can’t suppress voices,” he stated.

He urged the government to “focus on its core job,” calling on the NDC to simply implement the promises contained in its manifesto.
