The Acting Director-General of the National Service Authority (NSA), Felix Gyamfi, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Finance with immediate effect.
The decision comes less than seven months after his appointment as head of the Authority in January 2025. No official explanation has been provided for the sudden move, which has sparked speculation within public sector circles.
Sources at the Jubilee House suggest the reassignment forms part of a broader government reshuffle aimed at aligning key personnel with its economic management priorities.
During his brief tenure at the NSA, Mr. Gyamfi spearheaded reforms to streamline administrative processes, improve deployment systems, and strengthen collaboration with private sector institutions to expand opportunities for service personnel.
His departure leaves the Authority without a substantive head at a crucial time, as preparations intensify for the next batch of national service postings.
