The National Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Osman Masawudu, has narrated how the National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, restrained him from pushing away a TV3 microphone during a visit to the NDC headquarters.
Alhaji Masawudu, who previously made headlines after shoving aside a TV3 microphone at a press conference, said he had planned to repeat the same action but was cautioned by Mr. Nketiah.
Recounting the incident in an interview on Original TV—a clip of which has since gone viral on social media—he claimed he would “never forgive TV3” for what he perceives as consistent bias against the NPP.
“When I went to the NDC headquarters to address them, there was a TV3 microphone in front of me. I wanted to push it away, but Asiedu Nketiah told me, ‘Alhaji, this is the NDC headquarters, you can’t do that here.’ So, I refused to speak into it until they begged me,” he explained.
Alhaji Masawudu added that his distrust of TV3 remains, insisting: “For TV3, I will never forgive them their sins.”
