General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Justin Frimpong Koduah, has affirmed the party’s readiness for the upcoming by-election in Akwatia, despite emphasizing that the NPP remains committed to its core values and principles.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Koduah acknowledged the challenge posed by the by-election but assured supporters that the party is organizing strategically and will approach the contest with seriousness and unity.
“The NPP has principles, but we will be well prepared for the by-election at Akwatia,” he said.
His comments come in the wake of recent developments that have necessitated a by-election in the Akwatia constituency. Though he did not elaborate on campaign tactics, Mr. Koduah’s remarks signal that the party is mobilizing grassroots support and internal resources to retain the seat.
The Akwatia constituency has historically been a battleground for both the NPP and the NDC, and the upcoming by-election is expected to attract national attention.
Party insiders say the NPP will soon announce its candidate, with constituency executives and regional leaders already on the ground to coordinate voter engagement efforts.
As anticipation builds, the NPP is projecting confidence, with Mr. Koduah assuring that the party’s groundwork and adherence to its political values will be key in securing victory.
