The military and police security detail assigned to the private residence of Electoral Commission Chairperson Jean Mensa in Labone has reportedly been withdrawn without official notice.
Checks by masemtvgh.com reveal that police officers who had previously provided 24-hour protection at the residence were quietly pulled out earlier this week.
A local vendor near the property told Masem News that the last time she saw security personnel at the location was on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Since then, their absence has sparked curiosity and concern among residents and those who frequent the area.
Currently, the residence, which once had a visible and active security presence, appears unguarded. The entrance, previously manned by officers, now stands without any visible protection or patrols.
