Minority Chief Whip and Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has declared that the Minority caucus is firmly committed to reclaiming political power through all lawful avenues.
Appearing on the GTV Breakfast Show on July 2, 2025, the outspoken MP stated that despite their current minority status, the caucus is prepared to stand toe-to-toe with the Majority.
“We have sworn that whatever it takes—anything permissible by law—we have to come to power,” he asserted.
Annoh-Dompreh acknowledged the challenges of being in the Minority but pointed out that governance was even more demanding when his party held the reins of power. He noted that juggling parliamentary duties with executive responsibilities placed immense pressure on MPs.
“Being in the Majority seems difficult on the surface, but when we were in government, that was far more challenging,” he said.
Addressing political labels, the MP rejected the term “Micro Majority” as both inaccurate and unparliamentary, emphasizing that it had been dismissed by the Speaker. Instead, he embraced titles such as the “88 Infantry Battalion” and the “Mighty Minority,” which he said reflect the caucus’s resilience and strategic strength.
“There’s nothing like micro—only mighty,” he concluded.
