Member of Parliament for Effia, Isaac Boamah Nyarko, has appealed to supporters of New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirants to conduct their campaigns with respect and dignity.
During an interview on Citi FM’s Eyewitness News on Thursday, June 19, Nyarko underscored the importance of unity and discipline within the party as it heads toward its internal elections. He encouraged campaigners to focus on highlighting the strengths and vision of their preferred candidates rather than engaging in personal attacks.
“This is about the people. The message must reach and resonate with them. Convince Ghanaians why your candidate is best suited to lead. At the end of the day, it’s not just about the few hundred thousand who vote in our internal election — the real target is the millions of Ghanaians nationwide,” he stated.
Nyarko further emphasized the need to elevate the standard of political discourse, urging party members to be civil in their messaging and work towards winning the broader public’s trust.
