“Satan Has Taken Over the NPP; There’s No Leadership Anymore” – Dr. Richard Amoakoh Baah Laments

Dr. Richard Amoakoh Baah, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a scathing critique of the current state of the party, declaring that it has lost its moral compass and leadership direction.

In a candid and controversial statement, Dr. Amoakoh Baah lamented what he described as the complete breakdown of values and principles within the NPP, warning that the party has strayed far from its founding ideals.

“Satan has taken over the NPP. There’s no leadership in that party again,” he asserted during a media interview, expressing deep disappointment over the internal disarray and alleged moral decay plaguing the party.

According to Dr. Amoakoh Baah, the party that once stood for integrity, discipline, and democratic values is now engulfed in selfishness, greed, and a disregard for accountability.

He pointed fingers at the current leadership, accusing them of failing to inspire unity, uphold internal democracy, or protect the legacy of the NPP’s founding fathers.

“The NPP was built on the foundations of service and patriotism, but today, what we are seeing is a betrayal of that vision. It’s all about personal gain now,” he added.

His remarks come at a time of growing internal tensions within the NPP, with several members and observers calling for reforms and a return to the party’s core principles ahead of the next election cycle.

Dr. Amoakoh Baah, a respected political scientist and former lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has been a vocal critic of the party’s current trajectory and has repeatedly called for introspection and change from within.

As the NPP prepares for its future, his comments are likely to stir further debate about the party’s identity, leadership, and commitment to its founding values.
