The first time Member of Parliament for Sunyani West, Hon Millicent Yeboah Amankwah, has presented 300 streetlight poles and bulbs to enhance security in some selected communities within her constituency.
According to the Sunyani West Lawmaker, the recent interaction with her constituents in her ”thank you tour” led her to identify some pressing issues which needed her attention and one of such issues was streetlight poles and bulbs.
”Following my recent visit and thank-you tour across my constituency, I took note of several pressing challenges facing our communities — one of which was poor lighting in many areas”.
According to Hon Millicent Yeboah Amankwah, this intervention is one of the practical solutions she is rolling out to address these issues directly.
”As part of my commitment to enhancing security, promoting development and improving the quality of life in our towns and villages, I have donated 300 streetlight poles and bulbs to the good people of Sunyani West Constituency” she stated.
The Sunyani West MP further revealed that this initiative is aimed at ensuring our streets, markets, and neighborhoods are well-lit, safe, and conducive for both social and economic activities, especially during the night.
Hon Millicent Yeboah Amankwah assured her constituents of working hand in hand with all stakeholders to build a constituency they can all be proud of.
