EOCO picks up car dealer linked to Chairman Wontumi – NPP Deputy General Secretary confirms

The Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) has reportedly apprehended a car dealer believed to be closely linked to Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The confirmation came from the party’s Deputy General Secretary, adding a new twist to ongoing investigations into alleged financial and organized crime activities.

Details surrounding the reason for the arrest and the nature of the alleged connection remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.
