You Have No Moral Right to Call for Sammy Gyamfi’s dismissal after Defending Cecilia Dapaah – Vim Lady Tells NPP

Ghanaian media personality, Afia Pokuaa aka ‘Vim Lady’, called out the New Patriotic Party (NPP) over their hypocrisy for calling for the sack of Sammy Gyamfi.

In a social media post, the media personality referenced how the NPP defended Cecilia Dapaah after millions of dollars were found stashed in her home, now she claims this gives the party no grounds to call for Sammy Gyamfi’s head.

This comes after the acting CEO of GoldBod has been embroiled in a scandal after he was caught on camera gifting an unknown amount in dollars to self-acclaimed televangelist, Nana Agradaa

Well, the minority caucus in Parliament has since criticized Gyamfi’s conduct and called for his dismissal to show the government’s seriousness in f!ghting corruption.

In her reaction to the saga, Afia Pokuaa said the minority are in no position to call for Gyamfi to be sacked, considering they defended far worse instances of corruption by their appointees.

“We know what Sammy Gyamfi did was an indiscretion, especially given how he criticized others in the past, BUT the way NPP is ‘crying bl00d’ and demanding his sack is unbelievable,” Afia Pokuaa wrote. “Not long ago, NPP was busy justifying Cecelia Dapaah’s $1M saga. We must all learn from this, cos as the Ghanaian proverb says, “abaa a yedi bo takyi no yede bo baah”
