The reigning TGMA Artiste of the Year, King Promise, has offered to sponsor Tilly Akua Nipaa’s master’s education following her support during the build-up to the award show.
Tilly is known to be a showbiz pundit who showed bias in favour of King Promise and has since gained significant traction during and after the run for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards this year.
She appeared on several shows, especially DJ Slim’s ‘Streets is Watching’, debating why Stonebwoy, Kweku Smoke, and other contenders in the Artiste of the Year race couldn’t compare to King Promise’s works.
In a recent interview after he won the Artiste of the Year award at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, the singer shared his plans for the entertainment pundit at the Accra International Conference Center.
Speaking to Nana Romeo on Accra FM which was monitored by Masemtvgh, King Promise said he made the decision immediately his management told him of Tilly’s plans to pursue her Master’s education, adding that she did a great job with her campaign, which paid off, and needed to be rewarded
