In an unapologetic statement shared on Twitter, United States Marine General Michael Langley has made it clear he’s not backing down from his stance against Burkina Faso’s leader, Ibrahim Traoré.
“It is an insult asking me to apologize to Ibrahim. I am a four-star General of the United States Marines protecting the interests of the American government. He is brain-washing the African people and he has to stop,”
Langley stated, emphasizing his commitment to U.S. interests and openly accusing Traoré of misleading the people of Africa.
This fiery declaration has sparked heated debates online, as tensions between the West and Pan-African movements intensify.
