On a recent episode of The KSM Show, celebrated Ghanaian satirist and broadcaster Kwaku Sintim-Misa (KSM) offered a piercing analysis of Africa’s current global positioning.
Addressing misconceptions about post-independence sovereignty, KSM warned that while the colonial era may appear to be over, its methods have simply evolved.
“If any African thinks that the scramble for Africa happened in 1884 and now we’re independent and okay—please, it’s a lie!”
He continued by asserting that today’s exploiters no longer arrive with guns, but with aid packages, missionaries, and peacekeeping missions.
“It’s the same scramble, repackaged.”
