Stonebwoy’s “Jejereje” Wins Music Video of the Year at 2025 TGMA

Stonebwoy’s vibrant and captivating video for Jejereje, directed by Prince Banini Jnr—professionally known as Banini—has won Music Video of the Year at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards. The video stood out for its creative visuals, strong cultural elements, and high production quality.

Released in September 2024, Jejereje quickly became a fan favorite, racking up views and gaining attention for its unique look and powerful message. The video blends traditional Ghanaian aesthetics with a modern visual style, creating a striking experience that resonated with both fans and critics. It also features a special appearance by popular Ghanaian socialite Sheena Gakpe.

Banini, the director behind the winning video, expressed pride in the project. “I’m proud I directed Stonebwoy’s Jejereje music video,” he shared in an interview, highlighting how much the project meant to him professionally and personally.

The award celebrates not just the song, but the visual storytelling that brought it to life. Stonebwoy and Banini’s collaboration on Jejereje has raised the bar for music video production in Ghana, proving that compelling visuals are just as important as great music in today’s industry.

As Jejereje continues to make waves, its win at the TGMA marks a significant milestone in Stonebwoy’s career and reinforces the importance of visionary direction in the music world.
