Ghanaian musician Ayisi, formerly known as A.I, achieved a significant milestone at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), securing both the Record of the Year and Audio Engineer of the Year awards. These accolades highlight his exceptional talent and dedication to his craft.
Ayisi’s journey in music began in Accra, where he was born Emmanuel Kwadwo Oware. Influenced by his father’s drumming and a diverse collection of music, he developed a passion for various genres, including Highlife, reggae, hip hop, RnB, and Hiplife. Starting his recording career in 2004 during his time at Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, Ayisi has since collaborated with notable artists such as Kojo Cue, Trigmatic, Jay So, Ahkan, E.L, and Obrafour.
