Joe Mettle Wins Best Male Vocal Performance at 26th TGMA

Gospel sensation Joe Mettle has once again proven his vocal mastery by winning the Best Male Vocal Performance award at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). He earned the honor for his soul-lifting song “Oba Awon Oba,” which showcased the depth and range of his vocal ability.

Known for his smooth delivery and spiritual intensity, Joe Mettle stood out in a competitive field that included powerful vocalists like Kofi Nuel (“Do Not Fear”), Emmanuel Judah (“Aseda”), MOG Music (“Ahuoden Fofro”), and Ayisi (“Can I Live”). Yet, it was Mettle’s flawless control, emotive phrasing, and consistent excellence that secured him the top spot.

This award adds another feather to Joe Mettle’s decorated cap, reinforcing his position as one of Ghana’s most accomplished gospel voices. His win is not just a personal victory but also a celebration of gospel music’s influence within the wider Ghanaian music industry.

Joe Mettle continues to set a high bar for vocal performance, and his win at this year’s TGMA is a clear reminder of the enduring power of talent, dedication, and faith-driven artistry.
