Ghanaian artiste Black Sherif has earned a spot in th 2025 edition of the Black Entertainment Television Awards.
The ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ hit maker has been nominated in the Best International Act category.
He is contesting artistes such as Tyla (South Africa), Rema (Nigeria), Any Gabrielly (Brazil), Ayra Starr (Nigeria), Basky (UK), Uncle Waffles (Swaziland), Ezra Collective (UK), Joé Dwèt Filé (France), MC, Luanna (Brazil), and SDM (France).
Over the years, Ghanaian artistes like Kojo Antwi, D Black, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Stonebwoy, Fuse ODG, Kwesi Arthur, MzVee and Camidoh have been nominated in the award scheme.
Although his debut in the BET Awards, Black Sherif got a BET Hip Hop Award nomination in 2023 and consequently won it.
In the meantime, his new album ‘Iron Boy’ is gaining a lot of traction, topping various music charts.
