The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that its National Chairman, Stephen Ntim, has temporarily stepped away from the ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’ to attend to pressing matters.
In a statement signed on Thursday, May 1, by the party’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP assured members that Mr. Ntim remains fully committed to the tour and will rejoin the team in due course.
“The New Patriotic Party wishes to inform all members and the public that the National Chairman has taken a short break from the ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You tour’ to attend to some pressing matters,” the statement read.
The party expressed gratitude to its members for their continued support, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment throughout the tour.
The nationwide tour, endorsed by the NPP’s National Council, comes in the wake of the party’s defeat in the 2024 general elections to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). It aims to thank supporters and the general public for their backing during the electoral process, while also promoting unity within the party and acknowledging divine guidance.
