AdwumaWura Programme Sees Over 10,000 Applications Within 24 Hours of Launch​ — NEIP CEO Confirms

In a remarkable response to the newly launched AdwumaWura Programme, over 10,000 individuals have submitted applications through the official portal, neip.gov.gh, within just 24 hours of its unveiling.​

The initiative, spearheaded by the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), aims to empower Ghanaian youth by providing them with entrepreneurial skills, mentorship, and funding opportunities. The overwhelming number of applications underscores the programme’s relevance and the eagerness of the youth to engage in entrepreneurial ventures.​

Eric Adjei, CEO of NEIP, expressed his enthusiasm about the swift uptake, stating, “The response to the AdwumaWura Programme has been phenomenal. It reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of our youth and their readiness to contribute to Ghana’s economic growth.”​

The AdwumaWura Programme is part of the government’s broader strategy to reduce unemployment and foster innovation among the youth. By equipping participants with the necessary tools and resources, NEIP aims to nurture a new generation of entrepreneurs who can drive sustainable development across the country.​
