Entire EC Leadership Should Be Sacked – Asiedu Nketia

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has called for the removal of the entire Electoral Commission (EC) leadership, citing the party’s reset agenda.

In a recent interview on Radio Gold, Asiedu Nketia emphasized that the top-ranking officials of the EC should be replaced.

“I am the one who started the whole conversation about the removal of high-ranking officers at various state institutions, including the Auditor General, the Electoral Commission, among others,” Asiedu Nketia stated.

“The fact that the NDC won the 2024 election does not turn the EC Chair, Mrs Jean Mensa, into an angel. Left with me alone, she should be removed together with the entire leadership of the Electoral Commission.”he remarked

Asiedu Nketia’s sentiments come as the EC continues to play a crucial role in Ghana’s governance, managing public elections and referendums.
