The Ministry of Health has announced a significant reduction in the cost of application forms for prospective students seeking admission into Health Training Institutions across Ghana for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to a press release signed by the Minister for Health, Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the cost of the application forms, previously pegged at GHS 200, has been reduced to GHS 150. The move is aimed at improving access and making the application process more affordable for all interested applicants nationwide.
The sale of application forms will officially begin on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, and run until Thursday, 19th June 2025. The Ministry assured the public that further details would be made available in due course.
The press release also emphasized that only GCB Bank PLC and the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB) have been authorized to sell the application forms. The Ministry urged the general public and all prospective applicants to take note and purchase forms only through these approved channels.
This initiative aligns with the government’s broader objective to promote equitable access to health education and ensure that financial barriers do not hinder capable and passionate individuals from pursuing careers in the health sector.
