Hon. Adane George Confirmed as Jaman North DCE with 100% Endorsement: Vows to Lead with Integrity and Vision

In a remarkable show of unity and confidence, all 39 Assembly Members of the Jaman North District unanimously endorsed Hon. Adane George as the District Chief Executive (DCE), marking a new chapter of leadership for the district. The confirmation ceremony took place at the Sampa Central Pentecost Church and was attended by dignitaries from across the political, traditional, and religious spectrum.

Addressing a packed auditorium filled with chiefs, political leaders, government officials, clergy, and citizens, Hon. Adane George expressed profound gratitude for the overwhelming support and pledged to serve with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to development.

“I stand before you today deeply honored and humbled by the trust reposed in me. I thank Almighty God for His divine guidance and His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, for appointing me to serve the good people of Jaman North,” he said.

Hon. Adane George extended appreciation to his predecessors for laying a strong foundation and acknowledged the unanimous vote of confidence from the Assembly Members. “Your 100% endorsement shows your belief in progress and unity. This is a mandate I do not take lightly,” he stated.

In his speech, the newly confirmed DCE laid out a bold vision for the district — one focused on building a prosperous, inclusive, and vibrant community. His mission, he emphasized, is to provide effective leadership that promotes sustainable development, ensures access to quality education and healthcare, and unlocks economic opportunities for all.

Key among his priorities are:

  • Improving infrastructure across the district
  • Enhancing education and healthcare delivery
  • Promoting economic development and job creation
  • Ensuring the safety and security of all citizens

“I call on all stakeholders — traditional leaders, assembly members, political parties, youth groups, and development partners — to join me in this journey. Together, we can transform Jaman North into a district of opportunity and progress,” he said.

The event saw notable personalities in attendance including the Bono Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Addei Akwaboah; Former Ambassador and Regional Chairman of the NDC, H.E. Kwadwo Nyamekye Marfo; Member of Parliament for Jaman North, Hon. Ahenkwa Yaw Frederick; CEO of NEIP, Hon. Eric Adjei; as well as representatives from the Judiciary, Electoral Commission, and various political and religious bodies.

The confirmation ceremony concluded on a hopeful and patriotic note with Hon. Adane George calling for unity and collective action in moving the district forward.

“Long live Ghana, Long live the National Democratic Congress, Long live the President, and Long live Jaman North!” he declared.

The entire district now looks ahead with optimism as Hon. Adane George takes the mantle to drive development and prosperity in Jaman North.
