The Municipal Chief Executive Officer nominee for Berekum East Municipal Assembly, Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari has disclosed of her willingness to work in support of the vision of President John Dramani Mahama.
The MCE nominee disclosed this intention in her statement of appreciation sighted by Masemtvgh.com.
Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari in her statement, expressed deep appreciation to President Mahama for such honour done her, describing her nomination as a ”call to serve”.
”This appointment is not just a personal milestone, it is a call to serve.
Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari further poured out her gratitude to the many who have called to congratulate and wish her success in her tenure.
Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari, prior to her nomination as the MCE for Berekum East Municipal Assembly, is the current Presiding Member of the Assembly and the Bono Regional Women’s Organizer for the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC). Hajia Fatimatu Abubakari served as the Deputy Regional Women’s Organizer from 2018 to 2022 and has served as Assembly Member for her electoral area for three consecutive terms.
