The first National Tracking Poll of 2025 by Global InfoAnalytics has revealed that the economy, unemployment, and education are still the most pressing issues facing Ghanaians.
The poll highlights the priorities of citizens as the nation navigates its economic and social challenges.
According to the findings, both the economy and unemployment were identified as key concerns by 67% of respondents, reflecting widespread anxiety over financial stability and job opportunities.
Education followed as the third most significant issue, with 45% of participants emphasising its importance.
Other notable concerns included roads (25%), healthcare (22%), and taxes (20%), underscoring the need for improved infrastructure, accessible medical services, and fair taxation policies.
Corruption was cited by 18% of respondents, while electricity and petroleum prices each garnered 11%, pointing to ongoing struggles with energy costs.
Security (5%), water (7%), and other issues such as religion and ethnicity (1% each) were less frequently mentioned but remain relevant to specific segments of the population.
Mussa Dankwah , Executive Director and Head of Research, Global InfoAnalytics told Bernard Avle on Channel One TV’s The Point of View that the post election survey was conducted between 25th March and 1st April.
