57% of NPP Supporters Favor Bawumia for 2028 Flagbearer – Global InfoAnalytics Poll

A recent survey by Global InfoAnalytics indicates that 57% of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters prefer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead the party in the 2028 presidential election.

Dr. Bawumia, the NPP’s 2024 presidential candidate, emerged as the top choice among contenders such as Kennedy Agyapong, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Kwabena Agyapong, Brian Acheampong, and Francis Addai Nimo.

His closest rival, Kennedy Agyapong, secured 22%, while Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum followed with 11%. The remaining candidates collectively received 11%.

In terms of overall support, Dr. Bawumia still led with 48%, followed by Kennedy Agyapong at 25% and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum at 12%, with the rest amassing 14%.

These results highlight Dr. Bawumia’s strong influence within the party and sustained backing after the 2024 elections. His previous roles as flagbearer and vice president have solidified his position as the party’s leading candidate for the next presidential race.
