Former Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), Ms. Gifty Oware-Mensah, is expected to report to the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) upon her return to Ghana on Tuesday afternoon.
However, according to masemtvgh.com sources within the NIB, officers are preparing to arrest her upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, where she will be taken into custody for interrogation.
Prominent figures within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), under whose administration she served as Deputy Executive Director, are reportedly organizing to meet her at the airport and accompany her to the NIB offices.

The NIB is investigating alleged fraudulent activities at the NSS, where thousands of ghost names were purportedly used to siphon millions of cedis in allowances.
During her tenure, Gifty Oware-Mensah was responsible for administration and finance at the NSS, making her a key witness in the ongoing investigations.
The alleged payroll fraud is said to have cost the state an estimated GH₵50 million monthly. The duration of the alleged scheme remains unclear.
Over the weekend, the government announced extradition measures to bring back key suspects linked to alleged malfeasance, following reports that some individuals sought for questioning had left the country to avoid prosecution.
The NIB recently arrested and questioned Kwaku Ohene Djan, another former Deputy Executive Director of the NSS, as part of the ongoing probe.
