Economic Briefing
The Minister of Finance presented a dire economic situation, with numbers worse than expected during the election period.
However, the economic managers expressed confidence in their proposals to revive the economy.
President Mahama will address Parliament soon to reveal the current economic state and the way forward.
A National Economic Dialogue will follow, bringing together key players to discuss the state of the economy and rapid recovery strategies.
The Finance Minister will present the first budget on March 11, outlining the government’s economic policies.
