The Minister-Designate for the Northern Region, Ali Adolf G. John, has assured that he will lobby extensively to ensure that the Tamale water crisis is resolved.
Speaking during his vetting on Thursday, January 23, Mr. Adolf indicated that then candidate John Dramani Mahama promised to solve the crisis if he won the 2024 general elections and therefore assured residents of the Northern Regional capital that the problem will soon be a thing of the past.
He argued that President Mahama is a promise keeper and not vye off finding solutions to such a pressing issue.
“President John Dramani Mahama made it very public that he will resolve the Tamale water problem and this is somebody who does things that he says.
“And so I am of the firm believe that once he has won, the Tamale water problem will be solved and once it is solved, it will be extended to other districts.”
