Dr. Dominic Ayine, the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, is set to meet with the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee next week to evaluate the committee’s progress and review the data collected on looted public assets.
The ORAL Committee, tasked with investigating suspected corruption and validating information on stolen public resources, is currently processing over 700 petitions from the public.
This marks a significant milestone in its mission to combat corruption and recover stolen assets.
Dr. Ayine confirmed the scheduled meeting, stating that it will focus on assessing the information gathered and planning the next steps in the recovery process.
He promised to take over the findings provided by the committee for further action,” he noted.
The upcoming meeting is expected to be instrumental in advancing the government’s anti-corruption agenda, ensuring accountability and transparency in the effort to reclaim public assets.
“The ORAL committee and I will be meeting somewhere early next week most likely on Monday and I will be briefed by them in respect of what they have gathered so far and of course I will take over the information that they have gathered.”
