The Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, NDC in the Ahafo Region on behalf of the Region expresses a profound appreciation to President Mahama for nominating Hon. Eric Opoku to serve in his administration.
President Mahama on Thursday, January 16, 2025, named the Asutifi South Member of Parliament as the Minister Designate for Agriculture.
The Ahafo Regional Communications Officer, Hon Apraku Lartey in a statement, expressed optimism of the capabilities of the nominee to excel in his duties as expected of him.

Your nomination does not come to us as a surprise at all because we know you worth your salt, your record as Member of Parliament for the good people of Asunafo South is legendary.
